BIG MATCH PREVIEW: CITY v CHELTENHAM

The Bantams contest their third game in a week tomorrow evening, hosting Cheltenham Town. 

Gary Bowyer's men look to return to winning ways in the 7.45pm encounter, against fellow promotion candidates. 

The visiting Robins currently sit 8th in Sky Bet League Two, having finished 16th last term.

TEAM NEWS

City: Captain James Vaughan could be in line to make his return to the side - having completed his two-match suspension in Saturday's outing at Mansfield Town. 

Clayton Donaldson could also be pushing for a start after returning from injury at the One Call Stadium. 

Harry Pritchard could make back-to-back starts, while Matt Palmer could return. 

Cheltenham: Recent signing Owen Evans is expected to keep his place in goal for the Robins, following Scott Flnders' career-ending injury. 

Strikers Reuben Reid and Luk Varney could have a part to play having made their returns from injury in a friendly at West Bromwich Albion last week. 

Alfie May could again feature up front having signed from Doncaster Rovers this month.

The return fixture against Michael Duff's side also came on a Tuesday night, in September. 

Having taken the lead early in the second half, the Bantams were edged 3-2 in a five-goal thriller in Gloucestershire.

The Tyne man will be officiating both the Bantams and Cheltenham for the first time this season, tomorrow.
