Gary Bowyer has called for his players to continue gathering momentum, ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Oldham Athletic.
City picked up a battling point at home to Cheltenham Town on Tuesday evening, with what Bowyer saw as a much-improved performance.
The Bantams boss is keen to see his side keep taking forward steps ahead of their descent on Boundary Park.
He said: “The lads showed a lot of character and fight, on Tuesday, with the way they ran around and went about their business.
“We have to turn these draws into wins and concentrate on how we can get the most out of these final 16 games.
“We cannot afford be distracted by everything in the transfer market, ahead of Saturday. We have to take our mind off it and concentrate fully on the game.
“You build off your performances and we have to make sure we do that and keep moving forward at Oldham.”
Despite currently sitting 17th in Sky Bet League Two, Bowyer is aware of the challenge tomorrow’s hosts will present.
However, the City chief insists his side will be up for the test and is looking forward to another exciting encounter.
Bowyer added: “I watched them at close quarters in their game against Mansfield on Tuesday evening.
“They have picked up on their form recently, particularly at home, and will provide us with a big challenge.
“They are a good side with some good players who can hurt you out of nothing.
“We have to concentrate on ourselves and look to build on the performance from Tuesday, with the same mentality.”
Tickets will remain on sale until 10.30am tomorrow ahead of the contest, with the game strictly an ALL-TICKET affair. CLICK HERE to purchase.
