City return to Sky Bet League Two action tomorrow, travelling to Oldham Athletic. 

Dino Maamria's men have proved busy throughout the January transfer window, ahead of the 3.00pm clash. 

The Latics currently sit 17th in the league table, having won just one of their previous eight matches.

JANUARY TRANSFER ACTIVITY

The Boundary Park outfit have been busy throughout the January transfer window so far, making seven additions to their side and waving goodbye to a further seven. 

Ins: Christian N'Guessan (Burnley, loan), Emmanuel Dieseruvwe (Salford City, loan), Cameron Borthwick-Jackson (Manchester United, loan), Jonny Smith (Bristol City, loan), Danny Rowe (AFC Fylde), Zak Dearnley (New Mills), Carl Piergianni (Salford City, loan). 

Outs: Urko Vera (released), Kielen Adams (Chorley, loan), Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro (released), Florian Gonzales (released), Javid Swaby-Neavin (Radcliffe, loan), Chris Eagles (released), David Jones (released). 

ONES TO WATCH

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson:

A 22-year-old, Borthwick-Jackson recently signed on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season. 

The left-back first broke into the Red Devils' first team under Louis van Gaal in 2015, and has been capped by England at youth level. 

Tom Hamer:

A defender, Hamer first broke into the first team at Oldham aged 18 in January 2018.

A product of the Latics’ academy, the 19-year-old has made 48 first team appearances, scoring three goals.

Gevaro Nepomuceno:

Nepomuceno signed for Oldham in September 2017 and has since made 82 appearances, scoring eight goals.

The winger is a Curaçao international, having earned 36 caps for his country.

Scott Wilson:

Wilson has began his first season with Oldham, having signed for the Greater Manchester club in July.

The striker has enjoyed success at non-league level and scored 11 goals in 42 appearances for Macclesfield Town, last season.

THE MANAGER

Dino Maamria has been at the Oldham helm since replaying Laurent Banide in September. 

A 48-year-old, the Tunisian, began his managerial career in non-league, before moving to Stevenage, where he finished his playing career. 

A striker, Maamria began his playing days in his home country before enjoying spells at Burnley, Doncaster Rovers and Southport. 

THE CAPTAIN

David Wheater has been at Oldham since the summer, singning a one-year deal in August last year. 

An experienced centre-back, the former England youth international has made 105 Premier League appearances for Middlesbrough and Bolton Wanderers. 

The 32-year-old has made 25 Sky Bet League Two apperances so far this season, netting three times. 

LAST TIME OUT

Oldham recorded their first win in eight matches on Tuesday, overcoming Mansfield Town 3-1 at Boundary Park.
