'THE MAGIC OF THE CUP': TWO-WEEK COUNTDOWN

19 January 2020

Time is running out for City supporters to secure places at 'The Magic of the Cup' - which will take place next month.

Just two weeks now remain before the club celebrate the anniversary of one of our most memorable days.

On Saturday 24 January 2015, the Bantams came from two goals down at Stamford Bridge to beat the would-be Premier League winners Chelsea, in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The event - being held in association with the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation - will take place at the Utilita Energy Stadium from 6.00pm on Sunday February 2.

The evening's entertainment will include a delicious one-course meal, a special auction and a raffle - with proceeds being donated to the charity - which was recently launched by former Bantams captain Stephen Darby.

It will see City legends, who helped make history, return to West Yorkshire to rejoyce with supporters in a night of celebration.

Players including Darby and James Hanson - on top of former manager Phil Parkinson, assistant Steve Parkin and goalkeeper coach Lee Butler - have already confirmed their attendance.

More players - who created what is widely reckoned as the biggest cup upset of all time - are set to be announced over the coming days.

Standard tickets are available to purchase from £25, with VIP admission priced at £35.
