2019/20 REFUNDS AND CREDITS: HOW TO CLAIM

3 July 2020

Following a recent survey - where more than 80% of supporters who participated requested for the remaining balance of their 2019/20 'Our City' season ticket to be donated back to the club - we are inviting those who wish to apply for refunds or credits to now do so.

The results of the survey, which closed last week, are as follows:

- ‘I would like to donate the remaining balance of my 2019/20 ‘Our City’ season ticket to the club’: 80.38%

- ‘I would like a credit which I can spend on future ticketing’: 9.74%

- ‘I would like to donate the remaining value of my 2019/20 ‘Our City’ season-ticket balance towards a new scheme providing tickets for NHS staff’: 4.90%

- ‘I would like a refund’: 4.98%

Those wishing to apply for refunds or credits - after purchasing season tickets or match tickets online - are required to e-mail the middle eight digits of their credit or debit card number, full name and membership number of the purchaser (season tickets only). To do so, please CLICK HERE.

If season tickets or match tickets were purchased in person - at the Utilita Energy Stadium’s ticket office - then, in line with GDPR regulations, a credit or debit card number and expiry date must be provided, along with a contact telephone number.

PLEASE NOTE: The amount to be refunded or credited for 2019/20 'Our City' season tickets amounts to 5/23rds of the price paid.

City’s director of communications, Ryan Sparks, said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in the survey.

“It provided us with an indication and we are now pleased to be able to share with supporters what the next steps look like.

“We would also like to take this opportunity to thank supporters who are planning to donate the remaining balance of their season ticket to the club for their kind generosity.

“While the option to provide a complimentary ticketing scheme for NHS workers was the least popular, albeit narrowly, we will soon be launching an initiative allowing us to pay tribute for their remarkable service over the past few months.”

Refunds or credits are now also available to claim for home and away match tickets for fixtures scheduled prior to the curtailment of the 2019/20 Sky Bet League Two campaign.

At the time the regular season was suspended, tickets for games at Port Vale, Exeter City and Forest Green Rovers were on sale, as well as the season’s remaining home affairs.

To apply for a refund or credit, please CLICK HERE to contact a member of our ticketing team - before 5.00pm on Friday July 31. As with season-ticket refund and credit requests, the aforementioned contact and payment information must be submitted.

If you do not contact the club before this time, we will assume you would like the remaining balance of your 2019/20 ‘Our City’ season ticket to be donated to the club.

Meanwhile, Bantams officials are working to launch a new scheme which will provide an allocation of 100 tickets per game for NHS staff - who have worked tirelessly to protect our nation during the COVID-19 pandemic.

PLEASE NOTE: In the case of refunds for away fixtures, monies will be returned to the sole purchaser of the ticket(s) ONLY. Funds held for away tickets are to remain with the club - in the form of a donation.

PLEASE NOTE: All refunds will be processed back to a credit or debit card, with no cash-refund option available.
