Ryan Sparks has been promoted to the position of director of communications and commercial.
Sparks was appointed City’s director of communications last year, having joined the Bantams in 2018 - as head of media and public relations.
The 28-year-old will now oversee all things commercial at the Utilita Energy Stadium, while continuing to head up the club’s communications and marketing.
City's interim chief executive, Julian Rhodes, said: "Ryan has demonstrated an impressive ability to adapt and achieve in the time I have known him.
"I am now looking forward to seeing what he can bring to the commercial area of the business.
"He has a bright future in professional sport and his commitment is unquestionable.
"He is a trusted member of our team, who I am sure will thrive in the role."
Sparks added: "It is a real privilege to continue to serve this club and I am delighted to be taking on added responsibilities as we head into the 2020/21 season.
"Since arriving here, I have been committed to strong engagement while improving relations with supporters and sponsors.
"Transparency and integrity are very important to me and I am excited at the prospect of continuing to develop these areas, while growing our commercial portfolio.
"I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given and the trust the club has shown in me, and will do everything in my power to take Bradford City forward."
