UTILITA ENERGY POWERING THE BANTAMS FURTHER

24 June 2020

Bradford City is delighted to announce a significant addition to its principal partnership with Utilita Energy.

Utilita's association with the Bantams first began last summer when a three-year deal was struck to launch the Utilita Energy Stadium.

Further to the substantial agreement already in place, the UK’s leading smart pay-as-you-go energy supplier’s brand will now also appear on the replica and playing shorts of each of City’s 2020/21 strips - strengthening its presence within the club and the city.

The club’s director of communications, Ryan Sparks, said: “The addition to this already-fantastic partnership represents another positive step - off the field - for Bradford City and Utilita Energy, ahead of next season.

“We have enjoyed a very productive opening year of our principal partnership with Utilita Energy, who have done a fantastic job in ‘Powering the Parade’.

“The fact they were keen to take the partnership to another level is testament to their admirable loyalty and ambition.

“Our thanks must go to Utilita Energy for their input and continued support. We are looking forward to what will hopefully be a successful second year of our affiliation.”

Jem Maidment, Utilita Energy’s chief marketing officer, said: “It is an important moment in our partnership with Bradford City, to have the Utilita logo on the Bantams’ replica and playing shorts, as we continue to build our relationship with the club, its fans and surrounding community.

“The city of Bradford has so much to offer - including a brilliant football club - and we feel proud to be part of it.’’

Founded back in 2003, Utilita Energy is one of the nation's fastest-growing independent energy suppliers - currently powering more than 800,000 British customers.

It has established itself as a hugely-recognisable brand within British football, having supplied power to a number of iconic stadiums - including Ibrox, Selhurst Park and Villa Park - while partnering with over 20 clubs.

Centre to the new partnership will be Utilita’s Energy High 5 movement, which enables every household to use around £163 less energy each year by making five simple and free changes at home.
