HELP TOM RUN THE SHEFFIELD HALF MARATHON!

15 March 2020

Supporters are urged - where possible - to support Tom Caink, who will run the Sheffield Half Marathon this month to raise money for Canterbury Imagine.

Tom has been a season-ticket holder at the Utilita Energy Stadium since the age of six and will attempt to raise £600 for the Bradford children's charity on Sunday March 29.

Canterbury Imagine was set up on the Canterbury estate and is a registered charity.

It aims to improve literacy and life chances in some of the most deprived areas of Bradford, including the Midland Road area around the Utilita Energy Stadium.

This is done by providing children with a free book every month from birth until their fifth birthday.

The charity provides over 700 children with books every month and - since starting in 2012 - has sent out over 50,000 books to children in Bradford.

Tom, who is now 21, has reached his initial target of £250 which will fund books for two children for five years (equivalent to 120 books).

His new goal is £600 which will fully-fund five children for five years (300 books).

The Bantams are proud to be supporting Tom in his aim to raise funds for Canterbury Imagine and urge supporters to join Tom and help out.
