WOMEN'S SEASON EXPUNGED

27 March 2020

Bradford City Women's season in the FA Women's National League North has officially been declared null and void.

The decision, made by the Football Association, was made yesterday - amid the continuing outbreak of COVID-19.

No more fixtures in the FA Women's National League North will take place this season, with all previous results this campaign being eradicated, and no promotions or relegations taking place.

In their statement, the FA also announced seasons in all levels below the men's National League and the Women's Championship will be declared null and void, including at grassroots level.

Women's boss Chris Hames said: "Following yesterday's announcement our season is now over, I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who makes this club so special.

"When I first joined, just before Christmas, I would never have envisaged the way the season ended.

"However, there are much bigger things right now. I hope everyone stays safe and well and, when we return to action, will be there to get going again."
