BANTAMS TO 'DO ONE THING'

9 October 2020

Bradford City Community Foundation will host a special mental-health focussed FIT BANTAMS session tomorrow - as part of the club's involvement in World Mental Health Day.

Launched in January, FIT BANTAMS has helped fans tackle their weight as well as getting healthier and being happier.

And tomorrow's session - hosted by Bradford City Community Foundation officials - will focus solely on the well-being and mental health of participants.

The session will be held between 9.30am and 10.30am at Apperley Bridge Playing Fields (BD10 0PX).

Supported by 30 clubs in England, the EFL Trust’s FIT FANS programme is powered by over £2.25million of National Lottery funding from Sport England.

The programme is run by City's Community Foundation community manager, Adam Thirsk, having been at the club 14 years.

Clubs across the EFL are celebrating World Mental Health Day in association with the EFL's official charity partner, Mind - with the message being to 'do one thing'.

Mind’s 'do one thing' campaign aims to inspire people to make one small change or take one action to look after their mental health.
