Stuart McCall hopes his side can show consistency and continue gathering momentum when playing host to Walsall tomorrow (7.45pm).
The Bantams responded to a setback at home to Harrogate Town last week with a comfortable 3-1 victory at Mansfield Town on Saturday.
McCall was pleased with the reaction his side showed at the weekend and is looking for them to back it up further against the Saddlers.
He said: “When you have a disappointing performance and result like we did against Harrogate, you want to bounce back as soon as you can.
“You always want to work hard and play well and the boys were full of confidence on Saturday. We got our rewards.
“We were massively disappointed and hurting after Harrogate but responded well on Saturday, which was pleasing.
“All we can do is show a reaction and work as hard as we possibly can to pick up results and get this club where we want it to be - which we are determined to do again.”
While insisting his players are full of confidence following an impressive showing at the One Call Stadium, McCall has insisted concentration and focus must not be lost ahead of another challenging game.
Tuesday’s visitors currently boast the longest unbeaten run in English football but, while acknowledging their threat, the City chief has confessed his side’s determination to record a positive result.
He added: “We have to back it up against a side who are on good form, and currently unbeaten in the league this season.
“Just because we beat Mansfield away, it does not mean to say we will do the same to Walsall at home, but naturally that is our intention. That is football.
“There are no guarantees but we are desperate to back up the Mansfield game with a good performance and result.
“As always, we have to concentrate on what we need to do to get a good result and make sure we execute our game plan as well as we did at the weekend.”
