The Bantams return to Sky Bet League Two action with a 176-mile round trip to Barrow this Saturday (3.00pm).

ONES TO WATCH

Josh Kay

Josh Kay is Barrow’s leading goal-scorer of the 2020/21 campaign - registering three goals in all competitions. 

The 23-year-old midfielder joined Barrow from Chesterfield in 2018 and has made 85 appearances for the Bluebirds.

Chris Taylor

Former Bantam Chris Taylor joined Barrow on October 5, following his release from City at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

Since joining, Taylor has featured six times for the Cumbrian outfit - registering three goal contributions in his 331 minutes of action.

Courtney Baker-Richardson

Courtney Baker-Richardson caught the eye of then-Premier League side Swansea City in 2017, after a prolific spell with non-league Leamington as a teenager.

The striker went on to make 17 appearances for the Swans, before joining Barrow after parting ways with the club at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

THE CAPTAIN

33-year-old Sam Hird has racked up 460 professional appearances across his 14-year career so far, for clubs such as Grimsby Town, Doncaster Rovers and Chesterfield.

The Doncaster-born defender has featured 50 times for Barrow, and achieved promotion with the club last season.

THE MANAGER

David Dunn was appointed Barrow manager in July 2020 following the departure of Ian Evatt to Bolton Wanderers - his first managerial position since his tenure at Oldham Athletic concluded in 2016.

As a player, Dunn racked up over 350 seniors appearances for Blackburn Rovers, Birmingham City and Oldham Athletic - finding the net 52 times and registering 30 assists.

LAST TIME OUT

The Bluebirds secured their first Sky Bet League Two win of the campaign with a 4-2 away victory against Mansfield Town.
