The Bantams will look to extend their unbeaten run to three games, when facing Newport County at the Utilita Energy Stadium on Saturday October 24 (3.00pm).

The Welsh side have started their Sky Bet League Two campaign in good form - recording five victories from their opening seven games - and currently sit second in the table.

We have compiled an Opposition Guide, packed full of detailed information on tomorrow's visitors.

The Exiles have spent the Summer making 11 new additions, with ten players heading the other way.

Tristan Abrahams

21-year-old striker Tristan Abrahams is Newport’s top-scorer this season, netting seven times in 11 appearances across all competitions.

The centre-forward joined the Exiles at the start of the 2019/20 season - following his release from Norwich City.

Ryan Taylor

Experienced forward Ryan Taylor has racked up over 400 senior appearances in his 15-year career, finding the net 64 times.

Joining in the summer from Plymouth Argyle, Taylor has featured eight times for the Exiles - finding the net twice.

41-year-old winger Kevin Ellison joined the Exiles from Morecambe after nine seasons with the Lancashire club.

Across his career, Ellison has made 696 senior appearances, scoring 138 times and assisting 54 times - having turned professional in 2000.

Michael Flynn was appointed caretaker manager of Newport County following the departure of Graham Westley, with Newport 11 points adrift from the bottom of Sky Bet League Two.

Flynn led the team to survival, avoiding relegation with a win in the final match of the season - and was appointed as permanent first team manager on a two-year contract.

The former Bantam is approaching his fourth year as manager of the South Wales outfit, with whom he also ended his professional playing career.

The West Bromwich Albion academy graduate has racked up 346 career appearances - scoring 44 goals.

The Exiles recorded their fifth league victory in just seven matches in midweek with a 1-0 triumph at Stevenage.
