Bradford City is delighted to announce the signing of talented youngster Bryce Hosannah - on a season-long loan.
The exciting 21-year-old, who joins from West Yorkshire neighbours Leeds United, can play at right-back, right-wing-back and centre-back.
Hosannah has made three appearances for United’s under-23s side in Premier League 2 this season, including 90 minutes in a 3-1 victory over Sunderland yesterday.
The versatile defender penned a long-term contract extension with the Whites last September, having arrived from Crystal Palace in 2017.
He said: "I am really happy to be here and glad to have got the move over the line.
"This is a massive opportunity for me and, as soon as I heard of the interest, I told my agent to get the deal done.
"I would like to feel I will bring a lot of pace and energy to the squad and just want to help the team as much as possible.
"I am looking forward to working hard and taking my chances when they arrive, and am really determined to achieve success at this club."
Bantams boss Stuart McCall added: "We are really pleased to be able to welcome Bryce and add further to the strength we have in numbers.
"He possesses a lot of very impressive attributes and I am confident he will bring a great deal to our squad.
"There were a few clubs at this level and higher who were showing keen interest in him, so the fact he has chosen to sign for us is very encouraging.
"He certainly fits into the 'young and hungry' category and has a brilliant attitude - which will fit well into the group. I am looking forward to seeing how he continues to develop and progress."
Hosannah’s signing is subject to the relevant EFL, Premier League and FA clearances. He will wear the No.2, in claret and amber.
