Stuart McCall’s Bantams are set to continue their Sky Bet League Two campaign as they welcome Stevenage to the Utilita Energy Stadium on Saturday afternoon (3.00pm). 

Alex Revell's men have began their 2020/21 season with an unbeaten record and will be looking for a finish more productive than last season’s - in 24th place.

The Boro have strengthened extensively throughout the summer - making 13 new additions to their squad, with 23 players heading out.

ONES TO WATCH 

Romain Vincelot

Romain Vincelot will be making his return - in opposing colours - to the Utilita Energy Stadium, having enjoyed a two-year spell with the Bantams between 2016 and 2018.

The midfielder was brought in on a free transfer from Shrewsbury Town and has since made four appearances for the Hertfordshire side. 

Ben Coker 

On loan from Sky Bet League One side Lincoln City, the 31-year-old has made the majority of his club appearances at Southend United - playing 186 times for the Shrimps. 

The defender gained accolades with the Essex side by securing promotion to Sky Bet League One in 2015, beating Wycombe Wanderers at Wembley on penalties.  

Elliot List 

List - who joined the Boro in 2019 from Sky Bet League One side Gillingham - has made three appearances so far this season, adding one goal to his name. 

The 23-year-old started his youth career with Crystal Palace before joining Gillingham in 2015, where he made 85 appearances and scored seven goals in total. 

THE MANAGER 

Alex Revell was appointed manager of Stevenage in February, following the resignation of Graham Westley.

The 37-year-old made 54 apparences and scored 13 goals for Boro, and also came out of an under-18s coaching role to aid the first-team squad in their relegation battle - during the 2019/20 season. 

THE CAPTAIN

Scott Cuthbert was given the armband in 2019 - having only been at the club for a year. 

Throughout his career, the 33-year-old has reached three EFL play-off finals - including the promotion-winning play-off final match with Luton Town. 

LAST TIME OUT

Stevenage are coming to the Utilita Energy Stadium off the back of two victories, having recently beaten Southampton’s under-21 side 2-1 in the EFL Trophy - at the Lamex Stadium.
