Mark Trueman and Conor Sellars’ side return to action at the Utilita Energy Stadium - hosting Forest Green Rovers on Good Friday (3.00pm).

The Bantams moved up to 12th in the table after securing all three points at Colchester United on Saturday afternoon, though currently sit 13th after Carlisle United's victory over Crawley Town in midweek. 

This will be City’s third meeting with Rovers in history, and they will look to overcome the Gloucestershire-based side for the first time ever on Friday afternoon.

TEAM NEWS

City: Kian Scales, who scored his first senior goal last weekend, could feature for the Bantams once again.

Saturday’s man of the match, Clayton Donaldson is also in contention to start in claret and amber having played a pivotal role in the victory against Colchester United.

Callum Cooke, Zeli Ismail, Lee Novak, Harry Pritchard, Reece Staunton and Bryce Hosannah all remain out for Friday’s encounter.

Rovers: Baily Cargill is in line to feature at the Utilita Energy Stadium, having started in the Green Army's previous match against Bolton Wanderers.

23-year-old goalkeeper Lewis Thomas is also set to start for the visitors, ahead of ex-Bantam Luke McGee.

MATCH OFFICIALS 

Anthony Backhouse has taken charge of 25 matches this season - awarding 77 yellow cards, two reds and nine penalties throughout. 

The Cumbria-based referee oversaw City’s 3-1 defeat to Oldham Athletic in December, but is yet to officiate Rovers this season.

Backhouse will be assisted by Abbas Khan and Simon Clayton, with Darren Drysdale in as fourth official for Friday’s fixture.
