Finn Cousin-Dawson claims he and his team-mates are prepared for an “important week” - which begins with tomorrow’s visit of Forest Green Rovers.

After they face the Green Army at the Utilita Energy Stadium, the Bantams then travel to the Lamex Stadium to take on Stevenage on Easter Monday.

Cousin-Dawson emphasised the importance of City picking up positive results in both games, and believes this week could define their season.

He said: “We know this is going to be a very important week, and we feel ready for it.

“Getting back to winning ways at the weekend was important for us and, hopefully, we can build on that victory.

“We are still taking things very much week by week and game by game, and just want to perform as well as we can and finish the season strongly.

“Of course, our aim is to be up there in the table at the end of the season.

“If we can get two good results this week, that will put us in a good position.”

The Bantams defender was also eager to mention how happy he was to have regained his place in the starting line-up, in City's victory away to Colchester United.

After playing regularly over the festive period, the 18-year-old had only appeared in one of City’s previous 10 games.

He added: “It felt great to be back in the starting 11.

“I had a good run in the side over Christmas, but I am aware that my performance levels dropped off.

“During my time out of the team, I have been reflecting a lot on my performances and constantly looking at ways to improve my game.

“Luckily, I have had plenty of support from Mark (Trueman) and Conor (Sellars) and, now that I have been regained my place in the team, I can hopefully keep it.”
