Bradford City is delighted to welcome MYDIS as the club’s newest principal partner - ahead of the 2021/22 season.
An initial two-year partnership, the deal will see the Romford-based company become City’s official disinfection partner, during a time in history where sanitisation has never been more important.
MYDIS disinfectant stations will be located around the Utilita Energy Stadium, in addition to official Bradford City MYDIS hand sanitiser being available to purchase.
Bantams supporters will soon become familiar with MYDIS, with branding points placed inside Valley Parade. Preparations for the return of fans will also be assisted, with the club’s maintenance staff having access to the SE20 Fogging Unit.
A child-friendly disinfectant, MYDIS’ alcohol-free sanitiser kills 99.99% of bacteria and viruses and can be safely applied on skin and any surface.
The club’s commercial director, Davide Longo - who arrived in BD8 last month - said: “We are extremely pleased to be welcoming MYDIS as our newest principal partner and official disinfection partner.
“At a time where COVID-19 has made sanitisation and cleanliness one of the first things on people’s minds, this represents the start of what will hopefully prove an important and exciting relationship for years to come.
“MYDIS is a company which shares many of our core values as a football club. Alcohol-free sanitiser means it is not only child friendly, but also culturally diverse in being suitable for use by those of all religions and beliefs.
“We thank Al Sayed and his team very much for their support and enthusiasm, and look forward to building upon what we hope will be a successful partnership.”
MYDIS managing director, Al Sayed, said: “This partnership will create an abundance of opportunity for both MYDIS and Bradford City, highlighting each company, their awareness of responsibility in keeping clients, customers and supporters safe and opportunity for growth in partnerships.
“We are keen to align our values with Bradford City AFC, especially when it comes to engaging and benefiting the local community.”
