Supporters can now help raise vital funds for Bradford’s Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit (PSBRU) by purchasing a virtual match ticket for the club’s annual memorial fixture - marking the 36th anniversary of the Valley Parade Fire Disaster - on Saturday May 1.
A 3.00pm meeting with Scunthorpe United at the beginning of next month, the match would in normal circumstances have seen funds raised on the day through initiatives such as bucket collections and matchday programme sales.
However, with the impact of COVID-19 continuing to prevent supporters from attending, this unique product will see a £5 donation made to the world-renowned Burns Unit, in the form of a virtual match ticket.
The club would like to take this opportunity to thank its official ticketing partner Advanced, who provide the TALENT online system. In agreeing to waive administration fees from this product, it has been ensured that 100% of proceeds will be donated to the PSBRU.
