City’s under-18s were victorious for the sixth time in seven games - with a 2-0 triumph over Mansfield Town.
An early goal from Charlie Wood and a late strike by Connor Morris was enough for the young Bantams to earn another win at their Woodhouse Grove training base.
The Stags did find the back of the net early on in the contest, but it was ruled out for a foul by skipper Jonty Bouch.
The hosts opened the scoring with just under 20 minutes played, when the ball found its way through to Wood inside the 18-yard box.
The Bantams’ captain then produced a composed finish with his left foot to give Martin Drury and Lewis Nightingale's side the upper hand.
City almost doubled their lead when Olivier Sukiennicki’s free-kick went just wide of the post.
The West Yorkshire side went close again when Sukiennicki’s corner found Bobby Pointon, who then played it to Wood, but his effort narrowly missed the target.
The hosts came close to adding a second at the start of a quiet second period, when Wood’s through ball found Morris but his attempt missed the target.
The visitors nearly equalised late on in the encounter when Finn Flannagan struck one from long range -but was denied by City goalkeeper Tom Donaghy.
The Bantams secured the victory in closing stages after substitute Leke Ajibode had his effort saved, but Morris was on hand to score his seventh goal in his last nine appearances.
