BIG MATCH PREVIEW: LEYTON ORIENT v CITY

27 August 2021

The Bantams will be looking to secure their fourth-consecutive victory when facing Leyton Orient in Sky Bet League Two tomorrow afternoon at 3.00pm.

The match at the Breyer Group Stadium will be the first time Derek Adams and Kenny Jackett have been in opposing dugouts since February 2019.

We have created a Big Match Preview to provide you with all the information you need to know heading into the encounter.

TEAM NEWS

City: The Bantams will continue to be without Abo Eisa and Lee Angol due to injury.

Levi Sutton and Oscar Threlkeld will also be out of the game, but are now close to making full recoveries.

Orient: Connor Wood could be in the starting 11 against his former club for Orient. He came off the bench in the O's' midweek defeat to Harrogate Town.

The hosts currently have no known injuries ahead of the contest.

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAID

Derek Adams: “We have been working very hard in training and now feel ready for the game.

“Having a full week to prepare for the first time this season has allowed us to do things a little differently.

“This will certainly be a tough game but, no matter how we perform, the most important thing is that we gain another victory.”

Kenny Jackett: “We are all hoping to bounce back from what was a disappointing loss in midweek.

“It will not be easy, Bradford have started the season well and are rightly considered as one of the favourites to win the league.

“We will need to play with plenty of passion and be at our absolute best if we are to earn what would be a valuable three points.”
