OPPOSITION GUIDE: MANSFIELD TOWN

20 August 2021

The Bantams will be aiming to earn their third-consecutive victory in Sky Bet League Two when making the trip to the East Midlands to take on Mansfield Town.

City came out on top in both league meetings last season, including a 3-1 triumph at the One Call Stadium.

Both teams have made identical starts to the new season with two wins and a draw from their opening three matches.

We have put together an Opposition Guide to give you all the information you need to know about Saturday's opponents.

The 29-year-old midfielder has so far made 40 appearances for the club, scoring four times in total.

Rhys Oates

The forward joined the club in the summer from Hartlepool United, who he helped gain promotion to Sky Bet League Two last season.

After netting 17 times in the National League during 2020/21, the 26-year-old will be hoping to continue this form with the Stags.
