Derek Adams has handed out three City debuts - ahead of his side’s season-opening clash with Exeter City.
Lee Angol, Liam Ridehalgh and Oscar Threlkeld will make their first competitive appearances for the Bantams at St James Park, with Alex Gilliead making his third debut in City colours.
Richard O’Donnell starts between the sticks for Adams’ men, while Niall Canavan captains the club for the very first time, in an 11 otherwise unchanged from last week’s pre-season trip to Accrington Stanley.
