BANTAMS HOST ONLINE COFFEE MORNING

4 March 2021

City marked Level Playing Field’s Weeks of Action campaign this week - by hosting an online coffee morning meeting.

Taking place via Zoom, the event saw club officials joined by first-team players Billy Clarke, Elliot Watt, Lee Novak and Richard O’Donnell - and members of the Bantams’ disability side.

In a 30-minute-long call, players took part in a question-and-answer session to give Bradford City Disability Football Club a clearer insight into the life of a professional footballer, and offer interaction and a relief throughout the COVID-19 lockdown.

Level Playing Field’s Weeks of Action is an annual period of inspiration and celebration of good access and inclusion at sports venues, aiming to promote a positive, inclusive experience for disabled sports fans.

This event came the day after the Bantams marked the campaign around Tuesday’s visit of Mansfield Town, with players warming up in Level Playing Field t-shirts and Mark Trueman and Conor Sellars bearing badges on their clothing.
