BIG MATCH PREVIEW: CITY v OLDHAM ATHLETIC

19 March 2021

City look to return to winning ways - when hosting Oldham Athletic at the Utilita Energy Stadium on Saturday.

Mark Trueman and Conor Sellars’ side sit four places above Oldham in the table, having won 13, drawn eight and lost 12 so far this season.

Saturday’s fixture will be the fourth time this season the Bantams have faced the Latics, losing out on the previous three in all different competitions.

We have put together this Big Match Preview to take you through all of the key information you need to know ahead of the visit from Keith Curle’s team.

HOW TO WATCH

Supporters will be able to catch every minute of the game LIVE as part of their 'City For All' 2020/21 season ticket.

TEAM NEWS

City: Callum Cooke will be sidelined for up to six weeks after Conor Sellars revealed he had torn a hip muscle. He remains out, along with with Lee Novak, Zeli Ismail, Bryce Hosannah and Harry Pritchard.

Danny Rowe could feature against his former side, after signing from the Latics in January. He scored the winning goal against the Bantams in Oldham’s last visit to West Yorkshire.

Billy Clarke will make his 450th career appearance on Saturday afternoon, should he feature at the Utilita Energy Stadium.

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAID

Conor Sellars: "Keith Curle has had a few games in charge, now. He is an experienced manager who had a good playing career.

"We are trying to prepare as normal for what will be another difficult game.

"We think it will be a very different game to the ones we have already played against Oldham this season.

"Both sides have different managers and players from the last time we faced each other."
