Joint manager Conor Sellars has confirmed Callum Cooke is set to be sidelined for up to six weeks - after scans revealed a torn hip muscle.
The midfielder has missed the Bantams’ past two matches with the injury, which was sustained following this month’s 1-1 draw with Bolton Wanderers.
Sellars confirmed the 24-year-old will now undergo a period of rehabilitation in a bid to return to action before the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
Meanwhile, Sellars revealed frontman Lee Novak is progressing well through his rehabilitation programme, having had treatment on a knee injury, and is too targeting a return to action before the end of the season.
