ONLINE FANS’ FORUM TO BE HELD NEXT WEEK

19 March 2021

An online fans’ forum - featuring joint City managers Mark Trueman and Conor Sellars, and the club's chief executive officer Ryan Sparks - will be held next Thursday (March 25).

Akin to a similar event staged in July, the forum will be hosted via Zoom by BBC Radio Leeds, and get underway from 7.00pm.

Over the course of the evening, supporters’ questions will be put to the club officials, covering all matters on and off the field.

The forum will be broadcast live across City's YouTube channel, allowing people to tune in and be brought up to date ahead of the closing stages of the 2020/21 campaign.

BBC Radio Leeds will also broadcast a rerun of the forum on Tuesday March 30.

To submit a question you would like to have answered, please e-mail westyorkshiresport@bbc.co.uk.

Sparks said: “Unfortunately, we are still unable to hold physical fans’ forums and talk to supporters in the way we would ideally like to, but remain determined to be transparent and converse in the best way we possibly can.

“We are committed to maintaining clear lines of communication with our supporters and this event will provide an opportunity for you to send your questions in to be answered by a number of club officials.

“Mark Trueman and Conor Sellars will be on hand to discuss all on-field matters, and we may even be joined by a few players to round the evening off.

“Hopefully, it will prove a beneficial evening - for supporters tuning in - and one we are all looking forward to, going into the final months of what has been an unprecedented season.

BBC Radio Leeds sports editor Jonathan Buchan added: “We are really pleased to be able to help bring this fans’ forum to the Bantams supporters.

“We know it has been an incredibly difficult 12 months for all football fans, and keeping that link between the club and its fanbase is vitally important for us at BBC Radio Leeds.”
