City’s under-18s made it back-to-back victories in the EFL Youth Alliance North East division - with a 3-1 triumph over Burton Albion.
A Dylan Youmbi hat-trick was enough for the young Bantams to gain all three points at the Brewers’ St. George’s Park base.
The visitors took the lead early on in the contest when Olivier Sukiennicki’s corner was flicked on by Charlie Wood, before being tapped in from close range by Youmbi.
City went close to adding to their advantage when Oliver Norman picked out Connor Morris, whose effort went narrowly wide of the goal.
However, the Bantams did go on to double their lead after Sukiennicki’s free-kick came back off the crossbar and fell to Youmbi.
The first-year scholar finished into the bottom corner with his left foot, to give his side a commanding lead heading into the interval.
The hosts came close to pulling one back early in the second half when Said Idovarar’s effort was tipped wide by City goalkeeper Darryl Ombang.
The Bantams then had a chance to score a third when Morris’ through ball found Bobby Pointon, who struck his left-footed effort just over the bar.
Moments later, Morris played in Youmbi in the 18-yard box and he calmly finished to complete his hat-trick.
The East Midlands side netted a consolation goal with five minutes remaining when Idovarar headed the ball to Callum Niven - who volleyed into the back of the net.
However, City successfully saw the game out and claimed an impressive win away to the Brewers.
