YOUR CITY. YOUR SAY. DECIDE ON THE CLUB’S FUTURE IDENTITY

5 November 2021

Supporters are invited to have their say on the future identity of Bradford City AFC - with a survey launched as part of the club’s ‘Your City, Your Say’ campaign - by clicking HERE!

For the past 30 years, the iconic City crest has been proudly displayed on playing shirts and worn by some of the most celebrated players to ever represent the Bantams.

As our 120th anniversary approaches, we are giving you the opportunity to help shape what we look like, belong to and represent going forward, as we refresh our famous brand.

Open to anyone to have ever purchased a season ticket or match ticket at Valley Parade, the survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete, with each response being recorded and registered with equal validity.

It is split into different categories, and range in several areas on all things Bradford City AFC, from how long you have been supporting the club to your thoughts on the Bantams’ current look.

Open for a total of seven weeks, supporters with membership numbers are advised to complete this survey as soon as possible, to not miss out on this opportunity.

The survey, and all other information regarding this campaign, can now be found in one place - on a dedicated, new site, at bradfordcityafc.com/yourcityyoursay.

Here, you will find the survey itself, a message from chief executive officer Ryan Sparks, an in-depth description of the survey and campaign, and a comprehensive list of frequently-asked questions.

Results will be gathered and arranged, before being shared in full - along with the next steps - during the early stages of 2022.

City’s chief executive officer, Ryan Sparks, said: “We are extremely proud of what our football club stands for, has achieved and is building towards.

“We will forever be inspired by our past. Our heritage is hugely important and is an area we focus heavily on. In many ways, since 1903, our image and standing in the city of Bradford has not changed.

“Throughout the years, through thick and thin, the one constant has been you: our magnificent supporters.

“Who we are and what we represent, we champion every day. With this in mind, as we approach our 120th anniversary, we feel the time has come to assess the Bradford City AFC brand – one of the most iconic in English football.

“As we now operate in a more digital world, we must refresh our brand, adapt and, to a certain extent, evolve - in order to continue to grow and develop.

“This is your opportunity to shape the future identity of your football club, by having ‘Your Say’ on ‘Your City’. The most important aspect of this whole process is ensuring everyone who considers themselves a part of this club can have a say on what they feel our refreshed brand should be.

“There is no other way to do it, and no other way we would want to. The club belongs to you, and we want to run everything about it hand in hand with those values.

“We will be honest and transparent throughout, and every response will be reviewed and considered, before the results of the survey are shared, along with the next steps, at the beginning of next year.

“So, please, take the time to complete the survey. This is your opportunity to shape the future of your club. We will make every effort to contact all Bradford City supporters, but encourage you to share this opportunity with your fellow fans.

“We look forward to bringing you, our loyal supporters, on the journey with us as we continue to build a better Bradford City AFC for everyone.”
