Derek Adams felt his side “deserved the three points”, following this afternoon’s 1-1 draw with league leaders Forest Green Rovers.
City took the lead early on through an Andy Cook header, but a goal at the start of the second half from Jake Young meant the points were shared.
Adams was pleased with his side's performance, and felt they would have taken all three points on another day.
The Bantams boss said: “I thought we were very good.
“We started the game very brightly, and took the game to Forest Green.
“We had the better of the opportunities than the league leaders.
“We deserved the three points with the chances we created over the 90 minutes.”
Adams was also pleased to see top goal-scorer Andy Cook net his seventh goal of the season, as his side went in at the break a goal to the good.
He praised the all-round performance of the frontman, who he felt could have scored more on the day.
Adams added: “It was a great header from Andy Cook to score the goal.
“He was unfortunate not to come away with a match ball.
“He had two very good other opportunities and has been in the right positions.
“I thought he was excellent.”
