Following conversations with official kit and retail supplier Avec Sport, Bradford City AFC regrets to inform supporters of a delay in the delivery of additional 2021/22 replica kit stock.
Additional goods were initially ordered in August, following an unprecedented launch period for all three kits, which saw an overall 206% increase in like-for-like sales, in comparison with the 2020/21 season.
However, due to ongoing delays in global shipping, alongside COVID-19 lockdowns at factories and ports overseas, delivery of this batch has been delayed until at least the beginning of December.
Once back in stock, kits will be available to purchase from The City Shop at the Utilita Energy Stadium, and from the club’s official retail website.
Further communication will be made on the delivery and availability of these kits in due course.
An Avec Sport spokesperson said: “While these delays are beyond our control and part of a much wider, global situation, we apologise to supporters who have been waiting to get hold of the 2021/22 replica kits.
“We continue to work hard in order to get these back online and into The City Shop as quickly as possible.
“We are expecting to take delivery in early December, and will notify supporters as soon as we have an exact date.
“On top of this, we will allow supporters to pre-order from this delivery closer the time of arrival, so you can secure Christmas presents which will then be dispatched as soon as they arrive at The City Shop.”
