City’s under-19s made it five-consecutive EFL Youth Alliance North East division victories - with a 4-1 triumph over Lincoln City.

A goal from captain Charlie Wood and a second-half Dylan Youmbi hat-trick secured the Bantams yet another triumph at their Woodhouse Grove training base.

The hosts broke the deadlock with just over half an hour played, when Jack Wilson’s cross picked out Wood - who flicked the ball over the defender’s head before striking his volley into the bottom corner of the net.

City doubled their advantage shortly after the break when half-time substitute Youmbi was in the right place at the right time, to tap the ball in from close range.

Youmbi then added another just seven minutes later, when he took the ball past a defender before hitting a left-footed strike straight into the top corner.

The forward then completed his hat-trick on the hour mark when he cut inside and hit a low, driven attempt just inside the penalty area which found a way past the goalkeeper.

The Bantams went on to see the game out to secure a sixth victory in their last seven matches.
