The 2021 City Golf Day in association with Thompson, Davis and Co. Ltd. will take place this Friday (September 10) - and be hosted at Northcliffe Golf Club!
Celebrating its centenary year having first opened its doors in 1921, the Shipley venue will provide the setting for the annual get together, which will be held for the first time since 2019, after COVID-19 prevented last year’s event.
Welcoming Bantams from years gone by, the day will see a whole host of former City stars trying their hand on the course.
Appearing on the day will be Paul Jewell, Gary Jones, Terry Dolan, Barry Gallagher, Bruce Bannister, Jimmy Quinn, Garry Watson, Billy Clarke, Nathan Clarke, Les Chapman and Graham Mitchell.
Before taking on the indoor simulator in the evening, they and representatives from a number of the club’s partners will enjoy a round of golf in the afternoon, on the facility’s stunning 18-hole course.
In addition, participants will also try their luck in the ‘Nearest the Pin’ competition, sponsored by MetalTech, the ‘Longest Drive’ competition, sponsored by Electric Center Bradford, and the ‘Nearest the Line’ competition, sponsored by RMA Systems.
Northcliffe Golf Club is also exclusively offering ‘Take Me Home’ 2021/22 season-ticket holders discount when using its facilities. During the week, and after 12.00pm on weekends, they will pay just £20 (usually £35) for a session.
