City manager Derek Adams has called for his side return to winning ways when they host Walsall in Sky Bet League Two this weekend.
The Bantams suffered their first defeat in the league when they were beaten 2-0 at Leyton Orient last Saturday.
Adams stressed the importance of City picking up three points and is expecting it to be a game of high quality.
He said: “The most important thing is that we get back to winning ways against Walsall.
“We were all very disappointed with last weekend’s defeat, but it is now up to us to bounce back from that.
“Walsall have some talented players, but we just need to focus on what we are good at in order to get the job done.
“This has the makings to be a very exciting game of football, and I am sure the atmosphere inside Valley Parade will be fantastic again.”
The Scotsman also spoke positively about the Bantams’ overall start to the season.
City have taken 10 points from a possible 15 so far, and Adams has, on the whole, been encouraged by what he has seen from his group of players.
He added: “Overall, I am very happy with the way we have begun the new season.
“We have had a tough set of fixtures, but managed to get through them in a good league position.
“We made plenty of changes to the team over the summer, but I think they have all gelled together quickly.
“Now the transfer window is closed, all we can do is focus on the squad we have. At this moment in time, I feel happy with it moving forward.”
