Top goal-scorer Andy Cook is "ready" for the Bantams’ Sky Bet League Two fixture at home to Walsall.
The 30-year-old forward will be coming up against his former club, having spent the 2018/19 campaign at the Saddlers.
Cook is anticipating another tough game, but insists he and his team-mates are feeling well prepared heading into the contest.
“It will be a difficult game, but we are all ready for it.
“When you come up against your former team, it always gives you extra motivation to impress.
“Despite last week’s setback, we must remember we have had a strong start to the season.
“It is important we remain positive, and I am confident we will bounce back.”
Cook also spoke highly of the team chemistry which has developed in the City camp.
The forward joined the club permanently over the summer after spending the second half of last season on loan at the Utilita Energy Stadium.
He added: “One thing which has stood out for me so far this season is the impressive chemistry among the squad.
“We have plenty of creative players here which is great for me as a striker.
“Football is all about building relationships with your team-mates, and we seem to be doing that well at the moment.
“Hopefully, we can all go on to have a great season and achieve big things together.”
