TIFFIN STADIUM CATERING KIOSKS TO TURN CASHLESS

8 September 2021

Tiffin Stadium Catering kiosks inside the Utilita Energy Stadium’s concourses will accept CARD ONLY - from next month.

Beginning with the Bantams’ Saturday October 2 (3.00pm) visit of Rochdale, food and drink outlets within Valley Parade concourses will no longer accept cash as a payment method, and will just take card and contactless payment.

This means that City’s remaining two home fixtures this month - against Barrow (Saturday September 18, 3.00pm) and Manchester United Under-21s (Tuesday September 21, 7.00pm) - will be the final two where cash is accepted at Tiffin Stadium Catering kiosks.

The move has been made in attempt to enhance the serving process at kiosks on a matchday, and follows similar measures implemented with the club’s matchday admission processes, seen through the launch of all-new e-Tickets for the 2021/22 season.

Tiffin Stadium Catering are working to open more kiosks in the coming weeks, in an attempt to further reduce queues and wait times. Further details on this particular aspect will be released in due course.

In line with a number of other clubs across the UK, it is hoped cashless kiosks will provide a faster, safer and more effective way of processing transactions.

PLEASE NOTE: The cashless switchover will not impact the club’s matchday hospitality offering and suite upgrades, with all bars still accepting both cash and card payment.
