City have been drawn at home to Sky Bet Championship side Blackburn Rovers in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
The Bantams booked their place in the hat with a 2-1 victory over fellow second-tier outfit Hull City last night, while Rovers thrashed Hartlepool United 4-0 this evening.
The clash sees Mark Hughes face the side he took to the League Cup semi-final as manager, after winning the competition with Blackburn during his playing career.
The tie will be played over the week commencing Monday August 22 - with full ticketing details to be confirmed in due course.
