CAR PARKING

Free matchday parking for 500 cars is available to fans at Fairlands Valley car park to the north of the ground. This is clearly signposted as you enter Stevenage from Junction 7 of the A1(M).

Please note fans are prohibited from parking in the nearby retail parks due to parking restrictions, exceeding which could result in fines.

Any supporters parking on nearby residential streets are asked to park considerately and not to block driveways or inconvenience local residents.

Additional parking is also available in one of several town centre pay-and-display car parks.

ENTERTAINMENT AND REFRESHMENTS

The club's own Broadhall Suite opens at 6pm this evening for both home and away supporters.

There are a range of drinks on offer along with great value bar meals courtesy of Tony the Chef.

Otherwise, there is not much in the way of pubs near to the ground. Still, if you like your real ale then it is worth taking the 15 minute walk to the 'Our Mutual Friend' pub in Broadwater Crescent.

Across the roundabout from the ground, there is the 'Roaring Meg' Retail Park that has various eating outlets such as Pizza Hut, McDonalds & Burger King, plus a Harvester restaurant and bar.

GETTING THERE

By car: Leave the A1(M) at Junction 7 and take the A602 towards Stevenage. Go straight across the first roundabout and as you approach the next roundabout you can see the floodlights of the ground over on the right.

By train: Stevenage railway station is on the East Coast main line and has regular services running between the capital and the north. Great Northern trains run between London Kings Cross (from 25 mins) and Peterborough (50 mins). Many East Coast mainline services also stop at Stevenage providing travel options between London, Leeds, York, Newcastle and Edinburgh.

On arrival at the station you then have three options to continue your journey to the Lamex...

Shuttle bus: The shuttle bus service with Arriva costs just £1 return and takes football fans from the railway station and bus station directly to the Lamex Stadium. Services commence 80 minutes before kick-off on a midweek game and continue an hour after the final whistle.

PLEASE NOTE: the shuttle departs from Stop N at the railway station.

Taxi: A taxi will take five minutes and cost approximately £5. Turn left out of the ticket barriers and head towards the town. Take the first stairs on the left before the bridge over the dual carriageway and the taxi rank is on the left.

Foot: The railway station is approximately one mile away from the ground.

Turn left out of the ticket barriers towards the town. Take the stairs on the right before the bridge over the dual carriageway and head along the A602, Lytton Way with the railway on your right. At the roundabout which has the police station on the right, use the underpass to take the second exit into Six Hills Way towards Asda. At the next roundabout take the third exit (South) continuing along the A602 Monkswood Way, passing Asda on your right and North Herts College. After about 3/4 mile you will arrive at a roundabout and the ground will be opposite you on the other side of the A602.

WEATHER

Mild highs of 10° are expected in Stevenage today with clouds expected throughout.
