Bradford City AFC is delighted to announce the launch of the club’s limited-edition 2021/22 fourth shirt, available exclusively to members of the 1903 Club!
With the name of each and every 1903 Club member printed into the fabric, the shirt takes inspiration from an away strip the Bantams wore around the time of the 1981/82 promotion-winning campaign, complementing this season’s unique 40-year anniversary home kit in another fitting nod to the club’s proud heritage.
Claret and white stripes run horizontally across the ‘V-neck’ collar and shoulders, with the names of nearly 800 Bantams proudly displayed on the front.
City will don the strip at the Utilita Energy Stadium - complete with this season’s claret home shorts and white home socks - in a special, one-off game, when playing host to Harrogate Town on Tuesday February 22 (7.45pm).
Produced by official kit and retail supplier, Avec Sport, the shirt has been crafted from lightweight, sweat-wicking interlock polyester, designed to keep you dry and comfortable, and includes claret ‘Vapeurvent’ side mesh panels, allowing airflow to the body.
Two of the club’s main partners, JCT600 and Mitton Group, take centre stage on the front and rear of the jersey, with both logos fully sublimated into the fabric, and claret Avec Sport taping running down cuffed sleeves.
The City crest - complete with a claret star marking the 1911 FA Cup triumph - is embroidered, appearing on the front of the shirt alongside the Avec Sport logo.
The rear of the jersey is complemented by a traditional black ribbon, paying tribute to the lives tragically lost in the Valley Parade Fire Disaster on 11th May 1985.
All 1903 Club members who reserved a shirt by paying a deposit earlier this season have been contacted directly with details on how to complete the payment and receive their shirt.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are a 1903 Club member, you will not be able to collect your shirt from the Utilita Energy Stadium - or arrange for delivery - until you have paid for the shirt in full.
