Goal-scorer Matty Daly was “buzzing” following City’s 2-1 victory away to Walsall in Sky Bet League Two.
The Bantams' recent loanee signing opened the evening's scoring with what was his first goal for the club.
Daly was full of praise for the way his team-mates performed on the evening, and believes the win will give them plenty of momentum heading into upcoming games.
He said: “It was a great shift from the boys and we did well. We could not have asked for more. We dug deep and it was a great win.
“We are taking it game-by-game, and will just keep picking up points wherever we can.
“We are buzzing with the win, and we take it now into Saturday’s game.
“We have taken four points from two away games which is important, and we take that and a lot of momentum into two home games.”
The 20-year-old was also delighted at netting his first goal for the club.
Daly opened the scoring in the latter stages of the first half and is now hoping that he can continue to contribute to the team.
He added: “I was buzzing with the goal. Obviously, it took a little deflection, but we will take it!
“Personally, I am building on the minutes and gelling within the squad. Being a new player, you have to understand other players’ style of play.
“Something positive always helps, and with the goal and the three points it helps me personally - and the team.
“Hopefully, I can continue to score goals and create chances.”
