Bradford City AFC will host Doncaster Rovers in a tasty Yorkshire derby on the opening day of the 2022/23 campaign - Saturday July 30.
The Bantams’ full ‘draft’ fixture list for the coming campaign has now been confirmed, and will see Mark Hughes’ men raise the curtain on 2022/23 at Valley Parade against the South Yorkshire outfit.
City’s first away game of the season will come a week later - at Barrow on Saturday August 6 - before the first round of the Carabao Cup is held the following week.
Tuesday August 16 will see the Bantams travel to Essex to face Colchester United in their first scheduled midweek league game of the campaign.
A customary busy festive period will see Mark Hughes take his side to Carlisle United on Boxing Day (Saturday December 26) after hosting Rochdale in their final game before Christmas (Saturday December 17).
Home clashes with Harrogate Town (Thursday December 29) and Salford City (Sunday January 1) will follow, before the Bantams travel to Stockport County over Emirates FA Cup third-round weekend (Saturday January 7).
The Easter weekend sees City travel to Crawley Town on Good Friday (April 7), before hosting Sutton United on Easter Monday (April 10).
The Bantams’ season then concludes with a home clash against Leyton Orient on Saturday May 6, one week after their final away game of the campaign at Northampton Town on Saturday April 29.
Round One of the Carabao Cup will be held over the week commencing Monday August 8, while the first round of the Emirates FA Cup will take place over the weekend of Saturday November 5.
