City have been allocated ball No.7 in the Northern Section of Thursday's Carabao Cup first-round draw, and have been placed in Northern Group H of the Papa John's Trophy, alongside Burton Albion and Sheffield Wednesday.
Taking place on EFL fixtures release day this week (Thursday June 23), City will discover their final opponents in the respective draws, which are both LIVE on Sky Sports News.
The Papa John's Trophy draw will be finalised from 11.30am, and will see the eight 'invited' under-21 teams in the Northern and Southern sections each drawn into a group with three other sides.
Matchday one in the Papa John's Trophy is set to take place over the week commencing August 29, and will be followed by matchday two over w/c September 19 and three on w/c October 17.
The Carabao Cup draw will be hosted from 2.30pm, with a total of 35 ties to be decided. The first round of fixtures will take place over the week commencing August 8.
