Bradford City AFC is delighted to announce that Collett & Sons Ltd has increased its backing of the club, and will become official sponsor of Mark Hughes ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
The leading heavy transport logistics firm first became affiliated with the Bantams last September, when agreeing a one-year associate partnership.
Collett branding will continue to take place inside the Utilita Energy Stadium and across the Bantams’ social media channels, as well as alongside everything related to the Bantams boss next season.
Established back in 1928, the Halifax-based firm boasts the reputation of being an industry-leading heavy transport and abnormal load specialist.
Mick Harland, Collett Sales Director, said: "We are really pleased to be extending our Partnership with Bradford City AFC for the up-coming season, and especially thrilled to be the Official Sponsor of Mark Hughes, the way he has come in to the Club and embraced its culture and the fans is a real credit to himself, and also sends out a statement of intent from the club, the CEO and the owner.
"Since partnering up with Bradford City they have treated us very well. The two Corporate Matchdays we put on last season left a really good impression on us, and more importantly our customers who attended as our guests. They all commented on how much they had enjoyed the day, the surroundings, and the organisation. We would like to thank Davide, Nicky and their Team for their fantastic service. We would also like to wish Mark, Glyn and the team the very best of luck this season. The place is going to be rocking again."
"On a final note, we would like to mention, and hopefully drum up as much support and donations as possible for our Managing Director David Collett, who starting on the 3rd of July, over a period of 10 weeks, is running from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
"All his efforts are based on raising as much money as possible, for the charity Overgate Hospice in loving memory of his wife Debs. Any donations, however large or small are gratefully received."
City’s chief commercial officer, Davide Longo, said: “We are delighted that Collett have chosen to extend their partnership by a further season, and increase their backing of Bradford City AFC.
“From the moment we first spoke just under a year ago, we have very much been on the same page. We have a great working relationship and long may that continue.
“I know Mick Harland and his colleagues had a great time meeting Mark Hughes recently and, like all of us, are looking forward to the season ahead, being his official sponsor for 2022/23.
“I would like to thank them for their continued support and am looking forward to seeing this partnership hit further heights as the season progresses.”
