ABOUT THE GROUND

The stadium is usually referred to as Moor Lane but currently goes by the name of the Peninsula Stadium due to sponsorship obligations.

Manchester Rugby Club used the facility between 1908 and 1969.

The ground has then been the Ammies’ home since 1978 and has gone through major developments over the past few years, which has seen the capacity rise from 1,600 to 5,108.

The venue is made up of four stands: the West Stand, East Stand (visiting supporters), Moor Lane North Stand (some visiting supporters), and the Neville Road South Stand.

TICKETS

Tickets will also be available on turnstiles at the Peninsula Stadium this evening, having been taken OFF SALE through Bradford City AFC at 12.00PM on matchday.

There will be no price increase in tickets on matchday, though all purchases will be CASH ONLY, with card payment not accepted on turnstiles at the stadium.

Over 350 supporters are already set to make the trip.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to time restrictions, all tickets for this encounter will be available for COLLECTION ONLY. No tickets will be posted out whatsoever, as delivery cannot be guaranteed in time for the game. Tickets can either be collected from the Valley Parade Ticket Office up until 12.00pm on matchday, or from the Peninsula Stadium from 6.00pm on the day of the game.

Admission prices are as follows:

Adult: £10

Concession (5-21, 60+): £5

Under-5: FREE*

*Unless requiring a reserved seat, which is charged at £5

CAR PARKING

There are no car parks available at the stadium, however, fairly limited street parking is available around the local area.

You are able to park just outside the ground on Moor Lane, but must be mindful that this gets very busy on a matchday.

For full information on matchday car parking, please CLICK HERE.

ENTERTAINMENT AND REFRESHMENTS

Despite the ground being located in a busy area, there are no pubs close by for away supporters.

However, travelling fans can purchase refreshments from kiosks located in the away end.

GETTING THERE

By car:

For supporters travelling from Bradford, you will need to use the M62.

The ground is located just over two miles away from Junction 17 of the M60.

From that point, take the A56 towards the Manchester City Centre and continue straight.

You will eventually pass a Lidl on your left-hand side.

Then, take the third turning on your right into Moor Lane where you arrive at the stadium.

By train:

There is no walkable train station next to the stadium. The closest is Manchester Victoria which is three miles away.

Once you get off the train there, a taxi is recommended, and this will cost roughly £13 to get to the ground.

Trains in and around Manchester are expected to be busier, particularly in the evening, due to the Christmas markets.

Please plan ahead and allow longer for your journey. For any further queries, you can contact Manchester Passenger Assist on 0800 138 5560.

By bus:

You are able to catch the number 97 or 98 bus from Manchester Victoria station which takes you close to the stadium and this only costs £2.

The 97 and 98 starts from Shudehill Interchange in Manchester City centre and travels up the A56 Bury New Road which has a junction with Moor Lane (the bus stops here). Journey time is typically 20-30 minutes.

WEATHER

The weather is set to be overcast with highs of 6°C. The chance of rain is 10%.
