City will discover their Papa Johns Trophy Round Two opponents this Friday (November 11), with the draw set to take place live on Sky Sports following coverage of Birmingham City v Sunderland in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Bantams booked their place in the last 32 of the competition with a 3-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday and a point against Leicester City Under-21s.
Mark Hughes' men will be ball no.16 for the draw, which will be conducted by former City striker Aaron McLean and former Reading captain Jobi McAnuff.
Having finished second on Northern Group H, City will be handed an away tie, with fixtures set to take place over the week commencing November 21.
