City manager Mark Hughes and striker Andy Cook have been nominated for the respective September Sky Bet League Two Manager and Player of the Month awards.
In a month where the Bantams contested four matches, a total of three wins and one draw meant 10 points from a possible 12 were recorded.
Hughes' men began the month with a 2-1 triumph over Walsall on Saturday September 3, before beating Tranmere Rovers by the same scoreline 10 days later, defeating Stevenage 3-0 on Saturday September 17 and drawing 2-2 with AFC Wimbledon on Saturday September 24.
During this time, frontman Cook racked up five goals, taking his league tally for the season to eight, with braces against Tranmere and Stevenage coming after a strike against Walsall.
Hughes is up against Northampton Town manager Jon Brady, Swindon Town boss Scott Lindsey and Leyton Orient's Richie Wellens, while Cook will look to get the better of Northampton's Sam Hoskins, Orient defender Dan Happe and George Lapslie of Mansfield Town.
The judging panel for the Manager of the Month award comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert and former City forward Don Goodman, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies, with the latter two joined by EFL chief executive Trevor Birch on the panel for the Player of the Month award.
The winners will be revealed on Friday October 7.
