Mark Hughes has rotated his side ahead of the Bantams’ second Papa Johns Trophy encounter against Leicester City Under-21s at the University of Bradford Stadium.

Yann Songo’o, who takes the armband this evening, and Timi Odusina, who started in the opening victory against Sheffield Wednesday, return, as Brad Halliday and Matty Platt are rested.

Richie Smallwood and Alex Gilliead are amongst the substitutes as Levi Sutton and Ryan East start in midfield.

Vadaine Oliver will look to impress from the start, alongside Lee Angol, as top goal-scorer Andy Cook and Harry Chapman are replaced.

Kian Harratt and Jake Young are reinstated to the starting 11, as Dion Pereira makes way.

Joe O’Shaughnessy is named in the matchday squad for the first time since his arrival from Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan.
