ABOUT THE GROUND
A fairly new stadium to the Football League, Morecambe’s Mazuma Stadium has been home to the Shrimps since opening in 2010.
The stadium was build with a similar feel to the Lancaster club’s previous home, Christie Park.
The ground consists of four stands: the Beyond Radio A Stand, Omega Holidays Stand, Dennison Trailers Terrace and an Open Terrace.
ABOUT THE OPPOSITION
Mark Hughes’ predecessor at the University of Bradford Stadium, Derek Adams is in his second spell at Morecambe having left the club for the Bantams in 2021.
Back in Lancashire, Adams will be hoping for a repeat of the 2020/21 season, where they achieved promotion to League One for the first time in their history.
The 48-year-old will not be the only recognisable face to City fans, as Morecambe signed former Bantam Yann Songo’o following the expiry of his contract at Valley Parade.
Regulars in Sky Bet League Two last campaign, Jacob Davenport (Stockport County), Joel Senior (Carlisle United) and David Tutonda (Gillingham) have also signed permanent deals at the Mazuma Stadium, and will hope to bolster the squad.
Similarly to City, Morecambe have started the campaign with four points having seen a win, draw and a defeat in their opening three games.
CAR PARKING
With car parking only available for permit holders at the stadium, free street parking in the vicinity is widely available.
If you continue along Westgate, passing the stadium on your right, parking is available on both sides of the road, once you have crossed the railway bridge.
ENTERTAINMENT AND REFRESHMENTS
To drink:
The Boardwalk pub is located on the seafront and is a dedicated away fans bar.
The bar serves alcoholic drinks at a reasonable price and is located around a 10-minute walk from the stadium.
To eat:
Modern Marston's pub, the Hurley Flyer is located on the stadium's doorstep and welcomes visiting supporters.
The family-friendly establishment serves both food and drink for supporters looking for a pre-match meal.
GETTING THERE

Leave the M6 at junction 34, joining the A683 then the A589.
Follow the signs for the Mazuma which, when heading down Westgate, is on the right-hand side.
By train:
Morecambe railway station is located a mile from the the football stadium, which is around half an hour's walk away.
By bus:
The 6 and 6A buses drop supporters off right outside the ground, with the aforementioned Boardwalk pub also on the same route.
MEMORY LANE
Saturday’s match-up at the Mazuma Stadium will be the 20th since the Shrimps' promotion from the conference in 2007.
The Bantams have enjoyed the upper hand against the Lancastrian outfit, having won 10 of the 19 encounters.
The last victory for City came in a rescheduled, behind-closed-doors league game in February 2021, coming from behind in a 2-1 victory at Valley Parade.
Former Shrimp Anthony O’Connor netted on his 100th start in claret and amber and Charles Vernam's second-half strike completed the turnaround after John O’Sullivan’s opener.
The Bantams were last triumphant at the Mazuma Stadium during the 2019/20 season, where Hope Akpan and Aramide Oteh secured a 2-1 victory.
WEATHER
After escaping the rain in Manchester in midweek, light rain showers and temperatures of 20°C are forecast in Morecambe.
