Andy Cook was "over the moon" after the Bantams picked up three points in a 3-1 victory at the Eco-Power Stadium against Doncaster Rovers.

Cook, who grabbed a brace and an assist last night, admits results and performances have come hand-in-hand of late, after the recent form the Bantams have hit.

City’s No.9 praised the mentality the side showed to come from behind and pick up an important three points, giving the Bantams six wins on the bounce in all competitions and lifting them to eighth in Sky Bet League Two.

“I am over the moon with that,” he said.

“We have been playing well and the results are showing that.

"We are putting in good performances and the results are coming with them.

“Going 1-0 down can knock the wind out of you, but we did not let that affect us.

“We carried on going, got the equaliser, then Tyler got the goal to give us the lead just before half-time. That was massive.”

The 33-year old expressed the admiration he and the rest of the City squad have had for Graham Alexander since his appointment as Bantams boss.

Cook does not want to get complacent as City approach a busy festive period, believing they have to take each game as it comes if they want to continue the good run of form as they welcome Morecambe to the University of Bradford Stadium on Boxing Day.

“(The manager) has been different class,” Cook added.

“All the lads have been buzzing to work under him since he came in. He is keeping our feet on the ground.

“We need that - we cannot get complacent. We have to keep doing what we are doing, and continue our good performance.

“All we can do is continue to do the things we are doing, which are the right things.

“We need to keep on winning games, and hopefully we can continue our good form and win on Boxing Day.”
