City supporters are urged to come together and reunite Stephen Darby with some of the most prized memorabilia of his footballing career, as part of the Stephen Darby's Monumental Moments & The Shirts campaign.
Launched by The Sir Tom Broadbent Lounge, a Swindon Town podcast, the campaign will reunite the City legend with prized memorabilia from his footballing career, and raise funds for the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation.
A private seller reluctantly put up Darby’s framed match-worn, signed shirt from Swindon Town’s play-off semi-final victory over Charlton Athletic in 2010, for sale.
The Sir Tom Broadbent Lounge, a Swindon podcast hosted on Twitter Spaces, vowed to buy the shirt and return it to Darby and his wife, England international Steph Houghton.
Other former teams of Darby have shown support for the campaign, and a GoFundMe page has been set up to raise funds for the foundation.
